Four Simple Goals.

I decided to take a blog challenge I saw on Elsie Flannigan's blog. You can read about it here

1. Take more pictures and take them more often.

2. Sew more often. Make at least one thing a month.

3. Learn to cook a few things.

4. Set time aside to read more.

I think I can do these before January.
I think I may even have fun doing it.

I found all these picures on weheartit.com

UPDATE!

I just wanted to let you guys in on some things I've been up to

1.  My nun picture got into the SWIC Spring 2010 Art Show

2.  I'm trying to get into the "Not Your Grandma's Craft Fair"
It looks super awesome, I hope I get in.
It'll be my first craft fair!

3.  Alex bought me a polaroid. I was so excited!
If only the film was as cheap as the camera. Hmph.

4. My boyfriend is cute and has turned me on to Jonny and Santos.
They make me want to take dancing lessons,
this is perfect dancing music, don't ya think?

5. I want to start making more necklaces.
All of these lovelies are from Anthropologie.

So today I had a sleep deprived EEG to check out my head. Afterwards I decided to reward myself with a new haircut and some color. I love it so much. I already feel so bubbly, maybe it's true that blondes have more fun. It could also be that I'm just acting like a goober because I've barely gotten any sleep. Oh well.
Tomorrow I'll be posting more stuff on my etsy so watch out!

Well, yesterday me and my friend Crystal Wasson took pictures for my etsy mega launch and then dressed up and went to the funnest indie show I've been to in awhile. This great band, Dr.Manhattan, played and they have such a great on-stage presence. Plus they all have ultra cool mustaches. And I love mustaches. Anyways I'm so excited for my mega launch for my etsy. I might just let you guys have a sneak peek since you're so cool.

Goodnight! I'm going to work on a shirt for my boy, it's adorable.

I just found the most amazing website on design sponge, it's called The Art of Doing Stuff. The girl in charge is a lady named Karen who resides in Canada and she's a tv host. She's such a do it yourself type and I fashion myself the same way, it's so awesome to see her ideas. She's also big into design as well, one of my many loves.

here's some eye candy from her blog.

So I just set up mobile on my blog so I can blog whereever I feel like, like when I should be taking notes in math. This is one of the rare times I enjoy technology.

I'm now, super fascinated with this book after reading an article at http://www.believermag.com/issues/200705/?read=article_taylor. It has the most gourgeous illustrations, I've ever seen, this book is mind blowing. I would love to own a copy, unfortunately they're $550 and up, but thanks to the internet you can download a copy for free on mediafire, but there is nothing like holding a book in your own hands. And this is one I'd love to hold. The book was written by an Italian architect/artist who came up with this encyclopedia of a fantasy world he dreamed up with flexible rainbows, strange animals and fauna, and the most peculiar landscapes. I found a few peeks of pages to show you.
